My name is Lara and im a 29 year-old software developer from Germany, with a burning passion for cosplay and video games.
My Story
Since I picked up my first video game in elementary school, I was fascinated and dreamed with my friends about developing our very own silly games.
In 9th grade I finally took action and taught myself C, little did I know, it would take me 13 more years, to finally chase my dream.
Because when I graduated back in 2012, there sadly were very few courses for studying game development out there. So I started an apprenticeship as a Computer Science Expert for Software development and earned nearly 10 years of experience, working in the industry. Besides work, I channeled my creativity to create Costumes for LARP and cosplay and found myself a nice pen & paper group, to play Dungeons and Dragons once a week.
But even after all these years, I could never really let go of the idea of working as a game developer.
So 10 years after graduating from school, I decided to finally chase my dream.
